Learn About Communities of HOPE

“Success = Residents wanting to live in our communities, and not as a need or a last-resort.”

Communities of HOPE (CoH) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, mission-based organization. We provide affordable housing residents with services to address critical social challenges. Those social challenges include generational poverty, poor health, economic hardship, and much more.

Founded in September 2009, CoH’s solution focuses on our four 4 Pillars of HOPE:

  • Healthy Living
  • Financial Security
  • Educational Success
  • Strong Families

We also eliminate these social issues with our holistic program for social change that started in the metro Detroit area. CoH is also a unique resource connector to the necessary life skills needed by the resident housing communities. Providing these resources, we’ve teamed up with local partners who are able to help our residents build a more promising tomorrow, not only for themselves but for their families and additional community members as well.

CoH serves over 20 various resident property locations within the Eastern region of the United States, including Michigan, South Carolina, and Indiana. Our initial work in metro-Detroit improves the lives of several thousand people in (over 60) apartment communities managed by Premier Property Management, LLC, (PPM).
