Ashley HomeStore is excited to announce its most recent community outreach program in partnership with Norstar Development, the Community Foundation of Greater Flint and WJRT-TV – the “Place to Dream” initiative. Ashley Homestore has committed over $20,000 in matching donations to ensure that the residents of Clark Commons have a place to lay their head at night.
“We love what the Clark Commons development says about the Flint Community, that it’s on the upswing,” said Max Awad, General Manager of Michigan Operations for the Judah group, licensee for the Linden Road Ashley Homestore. “We saw the potential in the community when we came here just over a year ago and we love partnering with likeminded people who understand the potential this community has to offer.”
While the federal grant made this project possible, there is still a need for bedding and furniture – that’s where Ashley has stepped up to the plate but more is needed.
